One of the greatest thrills I ever had was sailing under the bridge to cruise to Alaska, then returning early in the morning when the cruise was over...cruising under the bridge again with thousands of white lights twinkling. It was indeed awesome. There is something wonderful about that city and the smell is different than air any place else. By the way, that trip was a gift from a very generous person when the original intended traveler got sick at the last moment. Who says good things don't happen out of the clear blue? My motto is always have a bag half-packed and be ready to travel at a moments notice! I can't wait to go back to San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge!
