Why I'm the "Realtor with a Resume" : It all started at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business. My concentration, Finance & Appraisal, required the California Real Estate Principles class, which in turn motivated me to take the exam to become a Realtor. Rather than jump in as a real estate agent, I accepted an offer from a National Homebuilder and became their "licensed" Escrow Coordinator.

Why I'm the "Realtor with a Resume" :
It all started at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business.
After a year and a half of notarizing grant deeds and partnering in the closing of over 950 homes, I accepted a position as a Sales Associate in Sacramento, California. My partner and I sold over $14 million dollars in real estate in one year, where we dealt primarily in FHA financing for the first time homebuyer market. From there came a promotion to Senior Sales Associate, in Elk Grove, California, where in 2001, I was named as National Sales Associate of the Year with over $17 million dollars in real estate sold. This community dealt primarily with second and third time homebuyers. I firmly believe that my success in sales came first from identifying the clients needs, and then negotiating the best price for that home.
Shortly thereafter, I became the Sales Manager for the Central Valley Division. In a year and a half, this office was named as the most profitable Division amongst both national and international offices and I accepted a promotion as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
A new move to Bakersfield, California inspired to me get my broker's license and apply my previous experience to the new challenge of Master Planned Development. I learned many of the nuances of working with Home Owner's Associations, the Department of Real Estate and an array of public works. These two vastly different corporations gave me skills to work within all aspects of our multi-faceted industry, and especially people.
Finally in 2005, my husband Dominic Torrice and I started to plan our family. I greatly wanted to balance both my personal and professional life. That inspired me to open my own office and become an Independent Broker. Real Estate Marketing is more than just buying and selling homes...let me explain why.
First and foremost, homeownership is the greatest expenditure you'll likely buy into during your lifetime. Both buyer's and seller's need an individual that understands the specific nuances of todays market. They need a professional that knows how to strategize to get you the home you want at the price you can pay. Or sell your home for you, while being sensitive to your financial needs. You need a professional that is ready and able to make a commitment to serving you. I will do that. It is my fiduciary responsibility to you, my client.
Second, you'll want a broker that knows the local neighborhoods, schools, market conditions, and ordinances of your desired area. My residency in Bakersfield, combined with my years of experience in an array of work environments, have given me the expertise and track record of success you need in negotiating your next purchase or sale.
Third, you need a broker who embraces the complexities of today's technological world. The resources available to you through my website will never replace the time I spend with you, but will help to serve you as your personal guide through this exciting process.
