I made it to AJ'S Bagels especially to get the Hamburger that ive been hearing so much about from a couple co-workers, I have to tell you that it is the Best Hamburger that I have had in some time, the closest one that comes to mind is the Burger at the Country Mart in Brentwood or the Burger at the old Hamburger Hamlet restaurants in Southern California -- Whatever A'J is putting in His secret sauce is amazing! The meat was so thick like a home-made Burger you would broil in your backyard, and it was so moist and juicy....I also had the Gorgonzola cheese ....I can't wait to Go Back to AJ's on North Chester Ave in Bakersfield...oh and by the way there is a very nice drug store next door....El Tejon drug store. is the name and they have a well stocked store....what a find....I love Bakersfield and it's diversity!

Just had the AJ's cheeseburger with Gorgonzola cheese and the special sauce...and AJ's seasoned frech fries--Awesome! I'd Go Back to this great Bagel and Sandwich shop on N.Chester.
