I recently discovered Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill and I think they are better in some ways than their competitor Baja Fresh -- the fish tacos were exceptional, also the tortillas and the beans were excellent...I'd Go Back to Rubio's!
Ok...new fave...the dollar menu at El Pollo Loco rocks...you can get an awesome Cilantro/tortilla strip salad and a couple Carne Asada tacos..all for $3..it is a bargain!
I agree with Rosemary, In N' Out is always delicious and the service is always fast and friendly. I also really like Jack-In-The Box. Again, the food is always great and the service is fast.
Have you ever been to the Apple Pan on Pico Blvd in Los Angeles? if you haven't, you need to go ...you will totally Go Back again and again!

Rosemary, which In and Out burger location do you go to? wouldn't it be nice if they would build an In and Out burger somewhere near Delano, CA -- that would really be a hit, right near the County Line exit in Delano, or the Wollomes rd exit near the Home Depot, you never know, I had read another idgoback.com user review about a Starbucks being built in Delano, and that happened...so we may get out wish!

Lately I have become a huge fan of Chick - Fil - A , this place has the best Chicken sandwiches I have ever had, their motto is : we didn't invent Chicken, but we did the Chicken sandwich....it goes something like that! The waffle fries and Cole-slaw also is deliteful.....yum yum!
two of my favorite places, I just can't ever make up my mind at Taco Bell of what to order...I loce so much stuff on their menu. In and Out is a easier call, double-double , fries and a Neopolitan shake and i'm good to go!

I'm gonna call this place a fast food place....the apple pan in west los angeles is a Iconic restaurant for Hamburgers and some Pie ....and also you have to get a milkshake there and some of their awesome french fries. Be prepared to wait, the place is small and always crowded...trust me, you will wait....once you have had "Apple Pan"....you will GO BACK!

In 'N Out Burger.. competition. They are absolutely the best. Everything is totally fresh. Have the fries monster style, nothing like it. Of course the Double Double cannot be beat. Only the fries are a little below standard even though they are totally fresh and peeled and cut right in front of you.

In & Out!!! I dont know if thats because I'm craving it right now or what?! There is nothing like a big cheeseburger on a grilled bun, with "special sauce" lettuce, tomoato, & onions (oh yeah I said it...i like onions)! I think I just made my mouth water! Add some extra crunchy fries, and strawberry milkshake to that, mmmmmmmmmmm!! Heavenly!
Baja Fresh Mexican grill is one of the best fast food places. they are fast and menu has a good selection. Panda Express is another that I really like when I have to get something fast. I'd go back to Baja and Panda for sure!
Shaun, I also love the pinto beans with cheese. Sometimes I go to Jack in the Box for the tacos and then zip across the St to Taco Bell and get the pintos and go home and enjoy beans and tacos...that's eating cheap!!

I agree...I had Chick when I was in School in the South, there were always lines inside and the drive-up. The place was so clean and so fresh....I'd Go Back! please open one in Santa Monica!!!

Baja Fresh for delicious Mexican using fresh ingredients. They don't have a drive-thru but dining is easy and casual. Only white meat used in the Chicken dishes...a plus for me. Yum! Wish I had a taco now!
In -n- Out Burger! Delicious cheeseburgers that don't taste like fast food. Fastidiously clean and privately owned by a Christian family. Look for a scripture on the bottom of your cup! I Go Back!!
In - n - out burger! it is the freshest and cleanliest place you will ever find. it has a simple menu of burgers,fries,soft drinks and shakes....it is a California institution, it is also in Nevada now and maybe in some other states? I'd Go Back for sure
