  • Id go back to the Holiday Inn In Amarillo Texas. The staff is great and my husband and I had a great time there. They also have a great FREE all you can eat breakfast buffet of eggs scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit and cereal in the Bristol Bar and Cafe that is located in the hotel. This could be a considerable savings for families. Try it. You'll be going back

The Del Monte Lodge on the Pebble Beach Golf links in Pebble Beach, California is an awesome place. Take the trip to the Monterey Peninsula and experience this piece of paradise. Take in the 17 mile drive and drive up to Big Sur and take in some incredible sight-seeing. I'd Go Back to the Lodge at Pebble Beach.

Ritz Carlton in Cancun - Been there several times. They know how to take care of their guest. Don't go as much tho...Beaches went topless. That is not my scene. However, had a blast watching a tall beautiful model go after my father every time he went down to the beach.

..How could I forget - the place where my profile picture was taken. Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida is great when traveling with children. There are two seperate rooms so you can have peace and quiet after a long day in the parks. Mosestly priced, yet close to the parks with great restaurants and fun pool with a waterfall, water slide, pool side bar and kiddie play area! As well as an outstanding gym and huge meeting/seminar area.

Sun Valley Inn or Lodge in Sun Valley Idaho. The Tyrolean Lodge in Ketchum is nice as well, but you have to get a suite cause the basic rooms are small!
We also recently stayed at the Short Lodge in McCall, Idaho and the view was breathtaking.
The Coeur d'Alene in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - again amazing views and the room service is outstanding white linen service.

Of course any Disney property is great. Our best experience was at the Disnyland Hotel in California.
Oh yes, and how could I forget the Best Western in New York, one block off of Broadway. We were on the 13th floor right above a firestation...and of course the trucks left at least every hour. It added to the excitement of the city. We just opened the windows and listened.

Terry are you really from Celebration? We were in FL a few years ago and it seemed that ALL roads led to Celebration. No offense but as cool as the town was it was kinda Stepford Wives creepy in a good way. Everything was so perfect I kinda felt like I was in the Twilight Zone! Loved the snow in December though :o)
Dora Gatlin October 23 at 11:22PM
is that close to where Tiger Woods lives in Florida? I thought I heard a reporter say on Television that one of Tiger Woods mistresses was from Celebration.
