Pirates is and will always be the best thing at Disneyland! I go back everytime! California Screamin at Ca Adventure is a great roller coaster though!!
Pirates is also my favorite ride at Disneyland, when I was little I was fascinated by how they can make it look so real having the fires burning and flames coming up...and also the dog with the key to the jail cell out of reach of a Pirate! a close second for me is the Jungle cruise!

I haven't been to Disneyland in years. The Small World was the cutest and the Matterhorn was the most fun thrill ride. My all time favorite is "Pirates of the Carribean." I liked the part when the pirate in the jail was trying to get the jail keys from the dog....LOL. I'd go back. :)
Rosemary, I also love Pirates of the Carribean...but since I was little I have had a major attraction to the Jungle Cruise!

Thunder Mountain for sheer FUN! Pirates of the Caribbean and Small World for relaxing enjoyment. Disneyland IS the happiest place on Earth, so I think just walking through the gates is a thrill!!:)
The Main street has always been where i like to spend a lot of time. it is relaxing to look through all the little specialty shops on main street. My family always visited the Abe Lincoln attraction, and also the Walt Disney story. It is fascinating to see how the shape of Disneyland actually came about. The Jungle cruise, Tea-cups, Indiana Jones, Matterhorn, It's a small world, Country Bear Jamboree are favorites. I also love splash mountain and the People mover ride. The Disneyland experience never gets old, we all age but it seems Disney never does!
I like the Indiana Jones ride. It just works for me. Some people say the herky jerky ride of the cars makes them sick to their stomachs. It's just great fun and the storyline is funny and exciting. Who doesn't like being chased down by the giant rolling rock?
I should also add that when I graduated boot camp my family and my buddies family went up to Disneyland. Well, things happened and I ended up making out with his sister on the aforementioned ride. Sooo, maybe that adds to the reason I have an affinity for it.

I have went to Disney World since I was in kindergarten...and they eventually changed the scene to make it politically correct years ago...
Michelle Warren October 25 at 3:28PM
Are you talking about "Pirates" or "Small World"?? Because Small World was always PC. But, I love Space Mountain too!! Is there still a 3D movie there?
Miguel Gonzalez October 25 at 3:43PM
Pirates..The Small World is my favorite ride...I believe so..I get confused now which is where because they have expanded and added so much..I only like MGM and the Magic Kingdom.
Michelle Warren October 25 at 4:00PM
My all time favorite ride at Disney "World" is "It's a small world". I love being able to sit and float throughout the ride, watching the little dolls sing and dance. I have went there since I was about 5 years old and every time I go on that ride, I get the same wonderful feeling that I use to get when I was a little girl.
Disneyland favorite.. wow... lets see...At the end of the day I love the train since my feet hurt. I'd forgotten about the dinasor section until this past year. I love Pirates of the Carribian but before they changed it and miss the Bear Jamboree. Everybody thinks I'm nuts but the Tiki Room still can't be beat for a little down time :o)
What I like to refer to as the 'quad-fectra' of Disney Mountains.... Space, Thunder, Splash and the Matterhorn. It just doesn't get any better than that!
Well...I would agree with you except for Space Mountain. I think that ride jerks your neck around too much! The other three are the BEST!!
Jacquelyn Frank March 31, 2009 at 10:24PM
Space Mountain, hands down...the darker, the faster, the better...my knees still get a little weak when I ride it and I giggle the whole time...it is pure escapism...
The Tower of Terror.... where you can toss a penny up and it hovers over your hand.....
